Your Speed per step equals your treadmill's base bonus multiplied by your equipped trail's multiplier. Example: the Angelic Treadmill (+2,000) with the Divine Trail (×14) gives 28,000 Speed per step. Speed decides which biomes you can enter and whether you can outrun other players.

Mutations are income multipliers applied on top of a pet's kilogram weight. Silver gives 1.25x, Bloom 1.5x, Golden 2x, Rainbow 2.5x, and Spirit Bloom 3x — the rarest at about 2.5% chance from the Sakura Incubator. Fusing three pets that share a mutation keeps it and can roll a heavier pet.

Claim the free rewards as soon as you spawn: liking the game, favouriting it and joining the developer group can grant a starting Speed boost of up to 10,000. Then upgrade your treadmill first — it sets the base number your trail multiplies.
